The Bharat Scouts and Guides


The Bharat Scouts and Guides (BSGHindiभारत स्काउट्स एवं गाइड्स) is the national Scouting and Guiding association of India. The national headquarters of BSG is recognized by the Government of India.[1]

Scouting was founded in India in 1909 as an overseas branch of the Scout Association and became a member of the World Organization of the Scout Movement in 1938. Guiding in India started in 1911 and was amongst the founder members of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts in 1928.

CAMP IN GMSSS-45C

A three-day camp has been organized in GMSSS 45C for the registered CUBS & BULBULS under the guidelines of State Secretary, Bharat Scouts & Guides UT, Chandigarh. The camp was conducted under the supervision of Mrs. Harveen P Kaushal. The sate Organizing Commissioner, BS&G, Punjab Mr. Omkar Singh involve the participants in various activities.

From School staff, Mr. Rohit Sood, Assistant District Commissioner, BS&G Ut, Chandigarh arranged the camp wholeheartedly with a special session of storytelling on MOGLI.
